On behalf of the whole community of St John’s Stonefold, may I welcome you and thank you for showing an interest in our wonderful school. I trust that you will find our website both interesting and informative.
At St John’s Stonefold, we are proud to be a small village school with a welcoming atmosphere, where the children are at the heart of everything we do. Our school is a vibrant, positive place that provides a safe and enjoyable learning environment in which to learn. Our children and staff enjoy coming to school, are motivated by their successes and become confident, reliable citizens in the community.
As a Church of England school, we seek to live out our lives in the teachings of Jesus Christ, living and growing together as a loving, church school family. We promote Christian values in all elements of daily school life by our words and deeds, and work hard to ensure that our children, “Rooted in God’s love: nurture grow, fly” – Ephesians 3:17. Every member of staff at St John’s Stonefold is fully aware of, and is committed to their role in promoting the school vision and every child feels proud to be part of our school family.
I am very blessed to have such a talented and hardworking staff who provide an outstanding quality of care and education, encouraging all of our children to aspire to, and achieve excellent results. Our staff encourage the children to engage in our wide and varied curriculum and provide an atmosphere where children can fully develop their talents and learn new skills. As a school, we offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities which are fully inclusive to ensure that all of our children have extra opportunities to develop and flourish.
At our school, we aim to create first-class partnerships with parents and carers, governors, the church and local community. Everyone has a role to play in developing our school community and providing the best opportunities for our children. We are a fully inclusive school, ensuring that everyone is welcome by valuing each child and their unique character, talents and gifts. We celebrate all areas of achievement and value success in all its forms.
I hope our school website will give you a good idea of the amazing work that goes on here and how proud we are to be a part of it.
